As the book was originally made for reading, we decided that editing was needed to make it flow more naturally.
After editing we were ready to bring it to life.
Preparing to Record
An essential part of recording is making the artist comfortable and at ease. We determined the most natural position for extended recording and the proper mics to capture her voice. Then we established a good communication for efficient use of our time.
Recording
Efficiency was the key here as there were many hours of text to read.
Once we finished recording, We edited and re-edited for natural flow of the text and maximum understanding for the listener.
Artwork
Packaging is an important part of any project. Wisdom and Richelle discussed product design, picture needs and text to be included.
Consultation
All projects usually start with a meeting to determine the purpose and scope of the recording. In Wisdom’s case it was an audio book to be part of her ministry. We discussed the steps necessary to accomplish this project and set timetables for completion.
Photo Shoot
Photos were needed for the artwork so Richelle collaborated with Wisdom for the appropriate shots for the product.
With all of the pieces in place, Artwork and recording were assembled to create a final product.
